Electromagnetics Theory and Applications Research Group

Welcome to our site !

Headquartered at École Polytechnique de Montréal within the Poly-Grames Research Center, the largest microwave, millimeter-wave and THz academic center in Canada, the Electromagnetics Theory and Applications (ETA) research group, headed by Prof. Christophe Caloz, is a dynamic team of talented researchers developing cutting-edge electromagnetic concepts, techniques, devices and systems. The ETA group, based on the platform of the prestigious Canada Research Chair Electromagnetic Metamaterials, held by Prof. Caloz, specializes in electromagnetic metamaterials, a field in which it has gained international renown for many pioneering concepts and applications. However, the activities of the group extend well beyond: they cover most of the fields of theoretical, computational and technological electromagnetics engineering, with strong emphasis on emergent and multidisciplinary topics.
